Curriculum Vitae:

DANIELE ESPOSITO received the M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering (cum laude) from the University “Federico II” of Naples, in April 2017. He received the Ph.D. in “Information Technology and Electrical Engineering”, presenting the dissertation: “The Federica Hand: a simple, very efficient prosthesis” at the University “Federico II” of Naples, in March 2021. Since then, he has been collaborating with the biomedical instrumentation research group, headed by Prof. Paolo Bifulco at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.

His main research interests are: a) Force-myography (FMG); b) Electromyography (EMG); c) Design of hand prostheses and related control/sensory feedback systems; d) Development of wearable sensors for detecting physiological parameters (muscle contraction, respiration, mechanical heart activity, blood pressure); e) Design of Human Machine Interfaces for gesture recognition and exergaming applications; f) Design of hand exoskeletons for assistance and neurorehabilitation; g) biosignal processing; h) image processing. In particular, he is involved in the “Federica” hand projectand in a 3D-printed Hand Exoskeleton project.
