Curriculum Vitae:

Leandro Donisi was born in Naples in 1990. He received Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with a dissertation on Biomechanics: “Static Schemes of Musculoskeletal Structures” in 2012 and Master’s Degree cum laude in Biomedical Engineering with a dissertation on Medical Devices: “Comparative study of the performance of two accelerometric systems for gait analysis: Opal and G-Walk Systems'' in 2018; both degrees achieved at University of Naples “Federico II”. Moreover he received PhD in Biomorphological and Surgical Sciences at University Hospital of Naples “Federico II” with a dissertation entitled: “Design and development of an e-textile device and a methodology for personalized and non-invasive assessment of biomechanical risk associated to manual handling” in 2022.

He was research fellow from January 2022 to July 2022 at the Department of Chemical, Materials and Production Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy. From August 2022 to January 2023 he was research fellow at the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy. From February 2022 to March 2022 he was research fellow at Centro Regionale Information Communication Technology CeRICT scrl, Benevento, Italy.

He is currently assistant professor of Bioengineering Fundamentals at the Department of Advanced Medical and Surgical Sciences, University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, Piazza Luigi Miraglia, 2, 80138, Naples, Italy.

He has several participation as speaker at national and international conferences: Congress of Italian Society of Movement Analysis in Clinic (SIAMOC), National Congress of Bioengineering (GNB), Engineering in Medicine and Biology Conference (EMBC), Mediterranean Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing (MEDICON), International Symposium on Medical Measurements and Applications (MEMEA), Conference of the European Study Group on Cardiovascular Oscillations (ESGCO), Nordic Baltic Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics (NBC), European Medical and Biological Engineering Conference (EMBEC), International Conference on e-Health and Bioengineering (EHB), IEEE International Conference on Metrology for eXtended Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Neural Engineering (MetroXRAINE) as documented from his scientific publications.
