Luigi Iuppariello background is in Biomedical Engineering comprising a BSc and MSc in Biomedical Engineering cum laude from University of Naples, Federico II.
Now he is a PhD Student at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, University of Naples Federico II.
He is teaching assistant for the course of Health Management and Elaboration of Biomedical Images, Signals and Data and tutor in the development of degree theses.
His principle research interests regard kinematic and dynamic models for the motor control in healthy and pathological subjects, algorithms for the assessment of the muscles activation during walking and robot-mediated therapy. Recently, he is developing a probabilistic model based on the theory of discrete-submovement to study human motor control.
He is involved in the research activity with the Department Clinical Medicine and Surgery, “Federico II” University Medical School in Naples about a wavelet-based analysis of human blood-flow dynamics.
He has an active collaboration in the research activity with the Bioengineering, Orthopedic and Neurology Departments at the Fondazione Salvatore Maugeri – Rehabilitation Scientific Center – IRCCS, TeleseTerme (BN), Italy
He has been speaker in many scientific national and international conferences, as documented from the scientific publications.
